Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., India’s leading SUV manufacturer, has officially revealed the name of its upcoming premium SUV — the XUV 7XO. The model will make its world premiere on January 5, 2026, marking the next major evolution of Mahindra’s flagship SUV lineup.
The XUV 7XO builds on the strong market legacy of the XUV700, which became one of India’s most successful SUVs with over 300,000 units sold in just over four years. Mahindra says the new 7XO is engineered to elevate the strengths of its predecessor with superior design, advanced technology, enhanced comfort, and improved performance.
Positioned as a future-ready SUV for premium buyers, the XUV 7XO aims to reinforce Mahindra’s leadership in the high-end SUV segment. Described as an SUV “crafted to inspire and engineered to excite,” it promises an evolved driving experience with new features and refinements.
Mahindra has also released a name reveal film, giving a first glimpse into what the company calls “The New Trendsetter” for the next generation of Indian SUVs.
The XUV 7XO will be promoted across official social media handles under hashtags such as #XUV7XO, #MahindraXUV7XO, and #TheNewBenchmark.
