Netradyne, a global leader in AI-enabled fleet safety and performance management, announced that BillionE Mobility, one of India’s fastest-growing electric mobility-as-a-service (e-MaaS) companies, has deployed the Driver•i platform across its expanding electric vehicle fleet. The move aims to significantly enhance driver performance, fleet safety, and operational efficiency using advanced real-time analytics.

This collaboration underscores a rising trend in India’s EV ecosystem—leveraging AI-driven telematics to strengthen fleet management as electric mobility scales nationwide.

EV Fleet Looks Beyond Basic Alerts

BillionE Mobility CEO Sanjeev Kulkarni said the company needed more than standard in-cab alerts provided in its Ashok Leyland electric fleet.
“India’s EV revolution is redefining mobility, and at BillionE, we believe safety and efficiency must go hand in hand,” he noted. “To truly empower our drivers and unlock operational excellence, we’ve adopted Netradyne’s advanced AI and analytics platform.”

Kulkarni added that with airport ground operations emerging as a strategic segment, the company plans to integrate AI-based driver monitoring and coaching systems to increase safety for both passengers and staff.

Netradyne’s Driver•i platform analyzes 100% of driving time to offer real-time alerts on risky behaviors such as distracted driving, tailgating, or unsafe lane changes. In addition to identifying risks, the system also recognizes and records positive driving behaviors.

Fleet managers gain access to near real-time video, detailed performance insights, and actionable analytics—critical tools for optimizing electric fleet operations where efficiency and driver discipline directly impact range and productivity.

Partnership Pushes EV Fleet Safety Forward

Durgadutt Nedungadi, Senior Vice President – EMEA & APAC at Netradyne, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to safer, smarter mobility.
“This collaboration is a perfect example of two innovators coming together,” he said. “BillionE Mobility is redefining EV fleet operations by placing safety and efficiency at the center. Their decision to adopt Driver•i shows a clear understanding that in the electric era, safety and efficiency are deeply intertwined.”

Netradyne aims to support BillionE Mobility’s vision of building a data-driven, sustainable, and high-performance electric fleet—setting a benchmark for AI-enabled mobility solutions in India.
