Renault is set to make a strong statement at the Solutrans 2025 exhibition with the world premiere of the new Trafic E-Tech electric, alongside its innovative “Converted By Renault” factory conversion solutions.
Renault Trafic E-Tech Electric: A New Benchmark for Electric Vans
The Trafic E-Tech electric, built on Renault’s new-generation “skateboard” platform, represents a major step forward in the brand’s all-electric commercial vehicle lineup. Compact yet highly capable, the van features a rear-mounted motor and short overhangs for improved urban agility while maximizing load capacity.
Powered by an 800V architecture, the van can charge from 15% to 80% in around 20 minutes, offering a range of up to 450 km (WLTP) with the NMC long-range battery or 350 km (WLTP) with the standard LFP battery. Its 150 kW motor delivers 345 Nm of torque, ensuring strong performance and efficiency.
Developed with Ampere’s SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) technology, the model supports over-the-air updates and advanced digital connectivity, including V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) and V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) features. Built in Sandouville, France, the Trafic E-Tech electric integrates a modern cockpit, enhanced safety systems, and digital personalization options for business users.
“Converted By Renault”: Factory-Backed Customization for Professionals
Renault is also showcasing its “Converted By Renault” program, designed to deliver tailor-made solutions for commercial customers. These conversions — ranging from refrigerated vans to mobile workshops and ambulances — are carried out directly in Renault factories or Qstomize workshops, reducing delivery time and costs while ensuring manufacturer-backed quality.
Through this industrial approach, we meet the expectations of business customers for shorter delivery times, lower costs, and reliability,” said Zakaria Zeghari, VP Sales & Marketing, Renault LCVs.
The initiative complements Renault’s network of 300 approved bodybuilders, ensuring that all customized vehicles adhere to stringent quality and compliance standards.
Renault 4 E-Tech Electric Van: Sustainable and Modular
Making its public debut at the show, the Renault 4 E-Tech electric Van combines practicality and eco-design. With a 409 km WLTP range and a 345 kg payload, it is available in two configurations — the Reversible Fleet (convertible from van to five-seater) and the Fleet Van (optimized for cargo). Built in France and converted by Qstomize, the model highlights Renault’s push toward sustainable business mobility.
Mobilize: Supporting New Forms of Professional Mobility
Renault’s Mobilize brand will also feature at the event, presenting Duo and Duo Pro — compact 100% electric quadricycles offering efficient, low-emission solutions for urban and professional transport.
The Renault stand (Hall 4) at Eurexpo Lyon will serve as the centerpiece for these announcements, reflecting the brand’s renewed leadership in electric and converted commercial vehicles.
