Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), India’s leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has achieved a landmark milestone by surpassing 3 lakh electric vehicle sales, becoming the first OEM in India to reach this feat. The company’s wide-ranging EV portfolio—comprising the Treo series, Zor Grand, e-Alfa three-wheelers, and the Mahindra ZEO four-wheeler—has collectively covered over 5 billion kilometres, preventing the emission of more than 185 kilometric tonnes of CO₂, equivalent to planting 4.3 million trees.
The achievement underscores Mahindra’s pioneering role in electrifying India’s last-mile mobility sector. The company recorded its most rapid growth phase yet, selling the last 1 lakh EVs within just 12 months, signalling rising customer confidence and accelerating EV adoption.
To mark the milestone, Mahindra introduced the refreshed NEMO platform, available on iOS, Android, and web. The platform enables remote fleet management, including features like multi-vehicle monitoring, geo-tracking, roadside assistance, and service booking. This follows the company’s UDAY NXT initiative, launched at the 2-lakh milestone, which provided drivers with financial counselling and a ₹20 lakh accidental insurance cover.
Speaking on the achievement, Ms. Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of MLMML, said: Achieving the 3 Lakh EV milestone marks a proud moment in our journey towards sustainable mobility. It reflects the trust customers place in Mahindra’s EVs. We are not just manufacturing vehicles—we are enabling livelihoods and shaping a cleaner, inclusive future.
MLMML’s success is backed by its comprehensive EV lineup and its commitment to innovation and accessibility. Alongside electric models, the company continues to produce a robust range of petrol, CNG, and diesel-powered last-mile vehicles, including the Alfa and Jeeto series.
A subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., MLMML remains at the forefront of India’s electric transition, aligning with the Mahindra Group’s broader vision of sustainable, purpose-driven growth.
