Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has reported total sales of 69,894 units in October 2025, marking another strong month for the automaker on the back of robust festive demand and a surge in SUV sales. The total includes domestic sales of 53,792 units and exports of 16,102 units, reflecting an 11% year-on-year growth in exports.
The festive season — spanning Dussehra, Dhanteras, and Diwali — combined with the positive impact of GST 2.0 reforms, contributed significantly to the buoyant market sentiment and consumer demand. Hyundai’s popular SUV duo, the CRETA and VENUE, achieved their second-highest ever combined monthly sales of 30,119 units, reinforcing the brand’s leadership in the competitive SUV segment.
Commenting on the strong performance, Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director & Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India, said: October 2025 was a month driven by the festivals of Dussehra, Dhanteras and Diwali, further complimented by the positive impact of GST 2.0 reforms. This provided a significant boost to the Indian automotive industry. At Hyundai Motor India, we witnessed robust market demand and high consumer enthusiasm leading to second highest monthly sales of our formidable SUV duo – the Hyundai CRETA and VENUE combined, with 30,119 units sold. We expect to accelerate this momentum with the upcoming launch of the all-new Hyundai VENUE, which is already open for bookings.
He added that the upcoming all-new Hyundai VENUE, featuring refreshed design, advanced technology, and enhanced safety features, is expected to set new benchmarks in the compact SUV space.
