Honda Motor Co., Ltd. made a powerful statement at EICMA 2025 with a dynamic lineup headlined by the global debut of the WN7 — Honda’s first electric motorcycle — and the unveiling of the V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype, marking major milestones in the company’s transition toward electric mobility and advanced motorcycle engineering.
The exhibition also introduced the new CB1000GT sports tourer, the expansion of Honda’s innovative E-Clutch system, and several design and model updates across its 2026 range, reaffirming Honda’s leadership in innovation, performance, and rider experience.
Honda WN7: The Brand’s First All-Electric Motorcycle
Making its world premiere in Milan, the Honda WN7 embodies the brand’s electrification vision under the tagline “Be the Wind.” Equipped with an 18 kW motor and a 9.3 kWh lithium-ion battery, the A2 license-compliant WN7 offers a range of 140 km and supports CCS2 car charging, achieving 20–80% charge in just 30 minutes.
The WN7’s sleek, futuristic design features a frameless chassis, regenerative braking selector, and forward/reverse walking assist, while Cornering ABS, Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and multiple ride modes ensure a premium, safe riding experience. The model also debuts Honda’s new EV branding and product mark, symbolizing its next chapter in two-wheeled mobility.
V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype: A Glimpse Into the Future of Performance
Honda’s V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype showcases a 900cc V3 engine with an electronically controlled compressor — the first of its kind in motorcycle engineering. Designed to deliver torque comparable to 1,200cc engines, the prototype reflects Honda’s commitment to combining environmental efficiency with thrilling performance. The asymmetrical bodywork and the new ‘Honda Flagship Wing’ emblem emphasize the prototype’s status as a symbol of innovation and design excellence.
CB1000GT: Touring Meets Fireblade Power
The newly launched CB1000GT blends long-distance comfort with Fireblade-derived engine performance. Equipped with Showa EERA™ electronic suspension, Cornering ABS, cruise control, quickshifter, heated grips, and Honda RoadSync connectivity, it offers a complete touring experience with premium technology and aerodynamic styling.
E-Clutch Expansion and Other Highlights
Honda announced that its E-Clutch system—which enables clutch-free starts, stops, and gear shifts—will be available on five additional models: XL750 Transalp, CB750 Hornet, NX500, CBR500R, and CB500 Hornet. This expansion brings the system’s blend of sportiness and ease of use to a broader audience, including A2 license riders.
The brand also presented updates to its SH125i scooter, the CB1000F retro-inspired naked bike, and new colors for models like the NC750X, SH350i, and the legendary Gold Wing series, which enters its sixth decade.
A special highlight of Honda’s EICMA booth was a ‘Kuromi’ collaboration, featuring uniquely wrapped CB750 Hornet and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade models, merging pop culture with motorcycling artistry.
With its EICMA 2025 showcase, Honda continues to accelerate its push toward electrification while preserving its legacy of innovation, performance, and rider-focused design — reaffirming why it remains “The Power of Dreams.”
