In a major step toward strengthening its digital ecosystem, Audi has relaunched the myAudi app with a fresh interface, advanced AI capabilities, and enhanced functions for electric vehicle (EV) owners. The redesigned app offers a seamless digital experience across smartphone, smartwatch, vehicle, and web platforms, positioning it as a smart companion for Audi’s growing EV lineup.
The highlight of the relaunch is the AI-powered assistant, co-developed by Audi and CARIAD using ChatGPT technology. This intelligent assistant can access the car’s logbook and onboard manual to answer technical or operational questions—marking Audi’s first integration of conversational AI directly into its connected services.
“Audi’s goal is to make digital mobility as intuitive and convenient as possible,” the company stated. “With the new myAudi app, drivers can manage their electric vehicles, plan routes, and interact with their cars through intelligent digital tools.”
The app introduces several features aimed at EV users, including charging schedule management, Plug & Charge functionality, battery preconditioning, and real-time range display. The improved route planner simplifies trip preparation by providing access to nearby charging station data and allowing users to send planned routes directly to their cars.
In addition, the app integrates a digital key, enabling users to lock, unlock, and start their vehicles using a smartphone or smartwatch—eliminating the need for a physical car key.
A new shopping tab personalizes the experience further, recommending digital services and Audi accessories based on each vehicle model.
The updated myAudi app reflects Audi’s broader digitalization and electrification strategy, supporting its transition toward intelligent, connected, and sustainable mobility. Available now in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the app serves over 50 global markets, with additional regions including Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman set to follow soon.
By combining AI-driven interaction with EV-focused connectivity, Audi continues to advance its vision of premium digital mobility, where every drive is smarter, simpler, and more electric.
