GAC Group has officially launched its global strategic electric SUV, the AION V, in Finland, marking the company’s entry into its third European market. This milestone reinforces GAC’s commitment to its European Market Plan and highlights the growing presence of high-quality Chinese electric vehicles in the Nordic region.
The AION V’s arrival in Finland plays a pivotal role in GAC’s pan-European strategy, which gained momentum following the global partnership agreement signed with Inchcape at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. This collaboration combines Inchcape’s extensive sales and service network with GAC’s advanced technologies, delivering enhanced benefits to Finnish and European consumers. Finland serves as the first market under this partnership, with plans for expansion into additional European countries.
Tailored to meet Finland’s emphasis on sustainability, safety, and spaciousness, the AION V delivers strong advantages in both technology and user experience. The model has earned a 2025 Euro NCAP five-star safety rating, underscoring its leadership in automotive safety.
