In a major push toward India’s electric mobility transformation, Indofast Energy, the country’s leading battery-swapping solutions provider, has announced a strategic partnership with electric two-wheeler manufacturer e-Sprinto to deploy 20,000 electric two-wheelers across India by 2026. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of EVs in last-mile delivery, reduce carbon emissions, and empower India’s gig economy with clean, efficient, and cost-effective mobility solutions.
The partnership will integrate e-Sprinto’s growing range of electric vehicles with Indofast Energy’s expanding battery-swapping network, offering riders a two-minute battery swap solution that eliminates range anxiety and charging downtime. The rollout will focus on high-demand urban corridors, serving sectors such as e-commerce, quick commerce, and food delivery — key pillars of India’s logistics ecosystem.
We are thrilled to partner with e-Sprinto, an OEM that shares our vision for a sustainable and accessible electric future,” said Anant Badjatya, CEO, Indofast Energy. “Having established ourselves as the default choice for fleet operators in battery swapping, this collaboration marks our transition from B2B to B2C. By integrating e-Sprinto’s high-quality vehicles with our infrastructure, we aim to expand our reach, accelerate EV adoption, and solidify our leadership in India’s electric mobility revolution.
Atul Gupta, Co-founder and Director, e-Sprinto, echoed this sentiment, saying, “Our collaboration with Indofast Energy is a game-changer for e-Sprinto and the broader EV market. Indofast’s extensive swapping network complements our vehicles perfectly, offering customers unmatched convenience and reliability. Together, we aim to make electric mobility the preferred choice for both commercial and personal users across India.
The alliance comes as part of Indofast Energy’s larger roadmap to establish 2,750 battery-swap stations and support 1.5 lakh EVs by March 2026, with a longer-term goal of deploying 10,000 swapping points across 40+ Indian cities within three years.
Indofast has already built an extensive network of 1,000+ battery-swapping stations across 10 states and 22 cities, collaborating with leading EV ecosystem players such as Zypp Electric, Omega Seiki Mobility, Shadowfax, Eveez, Rapido, Whizz, and Bike Bazaar, along with major infrastructure partners including IOCL, Indian Railways, BESCOM, DTL, BRPL, and Metro authorities.
This strategic tie-up with e-Sprinto marks another milestone in Indofast’s mission to decarbonize last-mile logistics, democratize EV access, and strengthen India’s green economy by delivering sustainable, tech-driven transportation solutions that keep India’s gig workforce moving efficiently and cleanly.
