Ford Motor Company extended its sales growth streak into the third quarter of 2025, reporting an 8.2% rise in U.S. sales to 545,522 vehicles. The automaker has now posted seven consecutive months of gains, fueled by robust demand for its trucks, SUVs, and a record-setting quarter for electrified vehicles.

The iconic F-Series remained America’s best-selling truck, crossing 620,000 sales year-to-date and outselling its nearest competitor by an estimated 170,000 units. Meanwhile, the Expedition recorded its best third quarter in 20 years with 21,844 sales (+47.4%), and the Bronco set a new quarterly record at 37,858 units (+41.3%).

Electrified vehicles (hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and battery-electric models) hit a new milestone with 85,789 sales in Q3, up 19.8%. The Mustang Mach-E led the charge, posting its best-ever quarter with 20,177 deliveries (+50.7%), while the F-150 Lightning sold 10,005 pickups (+39.7%), continuing as America’s best-selling electric truck.

Ford’s hybrid lineup also strengthened its position, with 55,177 sales in Q3, including 22,212 F-150 Hybrids (+10.3%) and 63,516 Maverick Hybrids year-to-date (+11.5%), cementing Ford’s leadership in hybrid pickups.

The company’s Ford Pro division also delivered strong results, with paid software subscriptions growing 30% year-over-year to approximately 815,000, and its BlueCruise hands-free driving system surpassing 7 million cumulative hours. Ford’s Mobile Service fleet expanded to more than 4,200 units, completing over 950,000 remote service experiences in Q3 alone.

This quarter’s growth showcases our portfolio’s unmatched flexibility and breadth,” said Andrew Frick, president of Ford Blue and Model e. “We saw strong performance in gas, hybrid, and electrified powertrains, while at the same time growing our paid software solutions.

Looking ahead, Ford is set to launch two new performance-oriented models in Q4—the Explorer Tremor, with a 400-horsepower EcoBoost engine and off-road upgrades, and the F-150 Lobo, a lowered street truck powered by a 5.0-liter V8.

With SUVs, trucks, EVs, and software-driven services all contributing to growth, Ford is reinforcing its momentum and positioning for continued strength into 2026.
