Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited (TPEVCSL), a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, and VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV) have announced a landmark collaboration to drive the adoption of electric commercial vehicles in India, beginning with the recently launched Eicher Pro X range of small commercial vehicles.
Through this MoU, Tata Power will leverage its extensive nationwide EZ Charge network and expertise in customized charging solutions, while VECV will contribute its deep experience in energy efficiency and commercial vehicle applications. Together, the companies aim to support truck and bus operators in transitioning to electric mobility, providing solutions that address customer-specific operational needs.
The partnership will focus on overcoming key challenges such as range anxiety, charging infrastructure availability, and cost optimization, while also enabling deployment across Eicher’s broader electric vehicle portfolio. By combining innovative technology with extensive infrastructure, the collaboration seeks to transform India’s commercial transport ecosystem into a cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable model.
