Electric commercial vehicle maker Euler Motors has launched the Euler Turbo EV 1000, the world’s first electric mini truck in the 1-tonne category that combines high performance with affordability. Priced at a starting ex-showroom cost of ₹5.99 lakh, the vehicle promises annual savings of ₹1.15 lakh compared to diesel counterparts.
The Turbo EV 1000 is the first eCV in the 1T segment to offer a real range of 140–170 km, powered by 140 Nm torque and supported by 230 mm disc brakes on the R13 wheel platform—the highest in its class. With CCS 2 fast charging, the vehicle delivers 50 km of range in just 15 minutes, setting an industry benchmark.
Targeted at small fleet owners and driver-entrepreneurs, the EV is positioned as a cost-efficient and reliable alternative to traditional ICE vehicles. Euler claims the model reduces total cost of ownership (TCO) significantly, making it a profitable choice for logistics operators working on tight margins.
With Euler Turbo EV 1000, we are bringing deep engineering innovation aligned with real-world logistics needs. It marks a segment-first blend of performance and affordability and arrives at a pivotal time when policy reforms are reshaping fleet economics in Indian cities,” said Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors.
The Turbo EV 1000 introduces nine segment-first innovations and is Euler’s third product after the Storm EV. It is available in three variants:
- CITY – ₹5,99,999
- FAST CHARGE – ₹8,19,999
- MAXX – ₹7,19,999
Financing options include easy EMIs starting at ₹10,000 per month with a down payment of ₹49,999.
Calling it a global best-in-class product, Kumar emphasized that the Turbo EV 1000 could be an inflection point for EV adoption in India’s commercial vehicle segment, currently pegged at just 2%.
