EV rental and mobility-tech startup Bijliride has invested ₹2.1 crore over the past six months, channeling funds into fleet growth, technology upgrades, and team expansion. The capital was raised in January 2025 from High Net-Worth Individual (HNI) investors, valuing the company at ₹21 crore (post-money).

The funding has already begun to show results, with Bijliride reporting stronger services, improved customer experience, and a solid foundation for sustainable growth. Backed by this momentum, the startup is targeting 3X growth in both fleet size and revenues in FY2025–26.

The company’s expansion roadmap includes key Tier-1 cities such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai. It is also scaling its enterprise-focused fleet management offerings to serve logistics, e-commerce, and last-mile delivery companies with reliable and cost-effective EV solutions.

Since inception, Bijliride has reported 25% month-on-month growth, offering flexible rental plans, 24/7 battery swapping, on-road breakdown support, and fleet leasing for businesses. The startup is positioning itself as a sustainability-driven enabler of India’s clean mobility transition.

Looking ahead, Bijliride is preparing for a USD 2–3 million (₹16–24 crore) follow-on funding round to expand its EV fleet to over 10,000 vehicles and extend operations to 10+ cities nationwide.

Commenting on the progress, Shivam Sisodiya, Co-Founder & CEO of Bijliride, said:
“The capital we raised earlier this year has been instrumental in fuelling our growth. We have strengthened our fleet, scaled our technology, and expanded our team to serve both individual and enterprise customers more effectively. Each milestone brings us closer to our vision of building a greener, smarter, and more sustainable mobility ecosystem for India.”

With strategic capital deployment, investor confidence, and a technology-first approach, Bijliride is emerging as a key player in India’s EV rental market, powering the shift towards cleaner and more efficient urban transportation.
