VinFast Auto Ltd. (NASDAQ: VFS) reported domestic deliveries of 10,922 electric vehicles (EVs) in Vietnam for August 2025, bringing its year-to-date total to 89,970 units. The company has maintained a steady delivery pace of nearly 11,000 EVs per month, consolidating its position as Vietnam’s leading automaker.
The VF 5 emerged as the top-selling model in August with 2,745 units delivered, followed by the compact VF 3 with 2,481 units. The Herio Green secured third place with 2,395 units, while VF 6 and VF 7 recorded 2,038 and 718 units, respectively.
From January through August 2025, the VF 3 (28,704 units) and VF 5 (27,109 units) were the company’s best-selling vehicles, underscoring growing demand for VinFast’s affordable EV range. The automaker also delivered 12,492 VF 6 and 5,099 VF 7 units during the period.
VinFast noted that these preliminary figures may be revised following year-end audits. The company continues to expand its EV portfolio both domestically and internationally, with recent launches of made-in-India premium SUVs VF 6 and VF 7 aimed at strengthening its global footprint.
