TVS Motor Company achieved its highest-ever monthly sales in August 2025, crossing the five lakh unit milestone. The company sold 509,536 units, marking a 30% growth compared to 391,588 units sold in August 2024.
Two-Wheeler Performance
Two-wheeler sales rose 30%, from 378,841 units in August 2024 to 490,788 units in August 2025. Domestic sales grew 28%, reaching 368,862 units.
- Motorcycles surged 30%, recording 221,870 units (up from 170,486).
- Scooters saw a robust 36% growth, selling 222,296 units (up from 163,629).
Electric Vehicles
TVS registered 25,138 EV sales, slightly higher than 24,779 units in August 2024. The company noted that magnet availability remains a challenge in the short to medium term.
Exports
Exports climbed 35%, rising from 99,976 units in August 2024 to 135,367 units in August 2025. Two-wheeler exports alone grew 36%, reaching 121,926 units.
Three-Wheelers
Three-wheeler sales jumped 47%, up from 12,747 units in August 2024 to 18,748 units in August 2025.
With this milestone, TVS Motor has reinforced its position as a leading global two- and three-wheeler manufacturer, while continuing its push for sustainable mobility solutions across international markets.
