TVS Motor Company has expanded its electric mobility portfolio with the launch of the TVS Orbiter, a feature-packed urban EV scooter designed for smart, sustainable commuting. Priced at ₹99,900 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru, under the PM e-Drive scheme), the Orbiter brings several segment-first innovations, including a 158 km IDC range, cruise control, hill hold assist, and a spacious 34-litre boot capable of holding two helmets.
The scooter also introduces an industry-first 14-inch front wheel for enhanced stability, paired with a 3.1 kWh battery and aerodynamic design for improved efficiency.
Connectivity and safety are central to the Orbiter’s appeal, with features such as geo-fencing, crash/fall alerts, anti-theft protection, turn-by-turn navigation, OTA updates, and a coloured LCD cluster with call/SMS alerts. Riders also benefit from regenerative braking, dual riding modes (Eco and Power), and a USB charging port.
