Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast has announced a new dealer agreement with Autohaus Jakob GmbH, strengthening its presence in Germany and placing the country at the core of its European expansion strategy.
Under the agreement, Autohaus Jakob will provide sales, aftersales, warranty, and spare parts services from its Fulda facility, which is set to open in September 2025. The partnership makes Autohaus Jakob VinFast’s third German dealer partner and establishes the company’s sixth authorized showroom in the country.
The collaboration builds on VinFast’s existing agreements with Autohaus Hübsch and Schachtschneider Automobile GmbH & Co KG. It comes as the automaker experiences growing demand in Germany, particularly for its compact VF 6 EV.
Jörg Kelling, Country Sales Director of VinFast Europe, said the partnership reflects the brand’s long-term vision:

Customers at the Fulda showroom will be able to explore, test drive, and purchase VinFast’s growing eSUV range, which currently includes the VF 6 and VF 8. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its product lineup and distribution model across Europe, with further dealer announcements expected for Germany, France, and other key markets.
The move is part of VinFast’s new dealer distribution strategy announced in May 2025, which combines in-house capabilities with local expertise to deliver a premium customer experience.
