Following its exterior design preview earlier this spring, the MY2027 Karma Amaris will debut during Monterey Car Week this month. The reveal will take place at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering on Friday, August 15, and again on Sunday, August 17, when the Amaris appears on the famed Concept Lawn at the 74th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Billed as the world’s first Hybrid EREV performance luxury coupé, the Amaris delivers on its striking proportions with 708 horsepower, 676 lb-ft of torque, and a 0–60 mph sprint of under 3.5 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 165 mph. Its hybrid powertrain features dual rear electric motors powered by a 41.5 kWh battery, sustained by a turbocharged 4-cylinder ICE generator. Drivers can expect over 100 miles of all-electric range and more than 400 miles combined.
Production of the Amaris begins in Q4 2026, with pricing starting at approximately USD $200,000.
“Amaris delivers all the joys and indulgences of a thoroughbred performance coupe – staggering pace, exuberant style and opulent interior appointments – balanced with an ultra-low emissions Hybrid EREV powertrain which offers the freedom to refuel with gasoline or recharge with electricity, whichever is more convenient,” says Marques McCammon, President and Chief Executive, Karma Automotive. “Amaris delivers pure desire paired with eco-conscious driving like no other vehicle in the world.”
