The global automotive centre console market is projected to grow from $35.21 billion in 2025 to $45.54 billion by 2029, at a 6.6% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), according to new research from The Business Research Company.

Market expansion will be driven by rising production of passenger and commercial vehicles, growth in luxury and high-end car segments, an expanding connected car ecosystem, and increasing adoption of electric and autonomous vehicles.

Key industry trends include the integration of large touchscreens, ambient lighting customization, IoT and smart home connectivity, wireless charging, and modular, multifunctional console designs.

Electric vehicle demand is playing a pivotal role, with EV centre consoles serving as command hubs for navigation and touch functions. U.S. EV sales could reach 40–50% of all passenger cars by 2030, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Asia-Pacific dominated the market in 2024 and is expected to post the fastest growth through the forecast period.
