Bigbasket, a Tata Group company and a frontrunner in eco-conscious e-commerce logistics, has significantly widened its electric vehicle (EV) delivery network to now span 50 Indian cities. This milestone move comes in collaboration with EV energy-tech startup Kazam, enabling Bigbasket to scale its green logistics ambitions with advanced infrastructure and real-time fleet intelligence.

A long-time proponent of electric mobility, Bigbasket has deepened its commitment to sustainability by deploying Kazam’s intelligent EV solutions. These include more than 4,000 charging stations at 773 locations, supported by 24/7 surveillance, zero downtime protocols, and compliance with LEVAC safety standards. With this integration, Bigbasket now leverages data-driven insights to monitor driver performance, optimize routes, track energy consumption, and reduce delivery costs — all through a single smart platform.

TK Balakumar, Chief Operating Officer at Bigbasket, emphasized the company’s sustainability-first philosophy: “It’s not just a buzzword — it’s embedded in our operations. With Kazam, we’re scaling our EV infrastructure smartly and aiming for 60% electric deliveries by 2030.”
