
TVS Motor Company has reported a robust performance for the first quarter of FY 2025-26, posting a 20% year-on-year increase in revenue at ₹10,081 crore, compared to ₹8,376 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company recorded its highest-ever Operating EBITDA at ₹1,263 crore, reflecting a 32% growth over ₹960 crore in Q1 FY 2024-25. Operating EBITDA margin also improved by 100 basis points to 12.5%, up from 11.5% in the previous year.
Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached an all-time high of ₹1,053 crore, registering a 35% rise from ₹783 crore in Q1 FY 2024-25. Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at ₹779 crore, also up 35% from ₹577 crore in the same period last year.
Sales Performance: Record Volumes Across Segments
TVS Motor achieved its highest-ever quarterly sales during the April–June 2025 period. Total two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including exports, rose by 17% to 12.77 lakh units, up from 10.87 lakh units in Q1 FY 2024-25.
Motorcycle sales grew by 21% year-on-year, reaching 6.21 lakh units, compared to 5.14 lakh units a year ago. Scooter sales climbed 19% to 4.99 lakh units from 4.18 lakh units in the corresponding quarter. Three-wheeler sales also surged by 46%, registering 0.45 lakh units versus 0.31 lakh units in Q1 of the previous fiscal.
Electric scooter sales continued their upward trend, witnessing a 35% growth with 0.70 lakh units sold in Q1 FY 2025-26, compared to 0.52 lakh units in the same period last year.
The company’s strong performance reflects robust demand across product segments and continued momentum in both domestic and international markets.
