GreenPower Motor Company Inc., a leading manufacturer of all-electric, purpose-built medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, has reported its year-end fiscal 2025 results, highlighting new product launches and operational consolidation amid shifting EV policy landscapes.
The company generated $19.8 million in revenues for the year ended, with deliveries of 84 vehicles, including 34 BEAST Type D school buses, two Nano BEAST Type A buses, 23 EV Star Cargo models, and 25 EV Star Passenger Vans. GreenPower closed the year with $8.1 million in working capital and $25.6 million in inventory.
Fiscal year 2025 was transformative as we adapted to evolving EV incentives and streamlined operations,” said CEO Fraser Atkinson. “GreenPower continues to deliver class-leading zero-emission vehicles while positioning for long-term growth.
During the year, GreenPower consolidated five California facilities into a single Riverside hub, reducing costs and centralizing engineering, manufacturing, and project management operations. Manufacturing at its West Virginia plant also advanced, with the first Type D BEAST school buses rolling out for in-state orders under the EPA Clean School Bus Program.
The company expanded its product lineup with two new Class 4 commercial EVs:
- EV Star Utility Truck – designed for contractors, offering customizable configurations, integrated tool-charging outlets, and a pass-through cargo option.
- EV Star REEFERX – an all-electric refrigerated delivery truck built on the EV Star Cab & Chassis platform, targeting food, pharma, and catering logistics.
President Brendan Riley emphasized GreenPower’s nationwide positioning: “As the only OEM producing both Type A and Type D all-electric, purpose-built school buses on both U.S. coasts, we’re uniquely equipped to meet market demand.”
GreenPower also raised $5.3 million through share offerings in FY25 and will host a webinar, to discuss results and outlook.
