Soriano Motori, the Italian-born EV and lifestyle brand, has announced the launch of its new U.S. manufacturing plant in Southbury, Connecticut, marking a major milestone in its global expansion strategy. The facility will produce the company’s signature Giaguaro V1-Series electric motorcycles, now to be crafted under the “Made in USA” banner.
The move follows the recent EU–USA Trade Treaty, enabling Soriano Motori to strengthen its presence in North America. Alongside the plant opening, the company will unveil its first line of prototypes developed through Soriano9, a global joint venture with U.S. design firm Gyre9, integrating expertise across automotive, two-wheeler, and industrial sectors.
The grand opening event, at 1200 Main Street South, Southbury, will include keynote presentations, product reveals, immersive technology showcases, and test ride demonstrations. Attendees will also experience virtual reality ride simulations, modular cutaway models, and direct engagement with Soriano’s engineering team.
Industry leaders, global banks, and investors—including representatives from Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Santander—are confirmed to attend, reflecting the international significance of Soriano’s expansion.
“This is more than just a factory opening — it’s a statement about innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration, said Marco Antonio Soriano, Executive Chairman of Soriano Motori.
The company positions its Connecticut plant and Soriano9 venture as pivotal steps in blending heritage design with modern EV technology, aiming to redefine performance, luxury, and lifestyle in the electric two-wheeler industry.
