Hallcon Corporation, a leading provider of transportation and infrastructure services across North America, has officially broken ground on its newest Electric Vehicle Operations Center (EVOC) in Redmond, Washington. Set to become the largest 24/7 EV fleet charging hub in the state, the cutting-edge facility represents a major advancement in sustainable transportation, helping meet the increasing demand for clean mobility solutions throughout the Puget Sound region.

Once operational, the Redmond EVOC is projected to eliminate 25,000 tons of carbon emissions annually—comparable to removing thousands of cars from the road each year. Tailored for fleet customers, the center will offer valet-style charging and vehicle staging services, while also generating nearly 50 new green jobs in the local community.

Spanning nearly four acres, the facility will feature 60 high-capacity charging ports powered by more than 5 megawatts of energy—enough to support daily charging for over 300 vehicles, including shuttles and motorcoaches. To ensure reliability even during power outages, the EVOC will also be equipped with 1.5 megawatts of backup power, enabling uninterrupted operations in all conditions.
