In a major boost to Italy’s green mobility goals, Latitude, a leading Italian renewable energy firm, has partnered with AMPECO, a globally recognized EV charging software provider, to deploy over 10,000 EV charging points across the country within the next five years.
The rollout will be spearheaded under Latitude’s newly launched e-mobility brand, ELEVEN, and is backed by an initial €2 million investment. All charging points will operate exclusively on certified green energy, sourced from Latitude’s robust renewable energy portfolio.
The collaboration marks a strategic leap forward in addressing Italy’s EV infrastructure reliability gap by combining Latitude’s 12 years of expertise in renewable energy with AMPECO’s hardware-agnostic, AI-driven EV charging management platform. The project also aligns with broader ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) objectives, offering a scalable and sustainable mobility solution for enterprise and public users alike.

Latitude will first operate as an e-Mobility Service Provider (eMSP) in collaboration with regional networks, with plans to evolve into a full-fledged Charge Point Operator (CPO). The partnership will prioritize enterprise workplace charging and destination-based hubs, while also ensuring seamless roaming across fast and ultra-fast charging networks.
AMPECO’s software ensures uptime excellence through real-time monitoring, remote issue resolution, and AI-powered diagnostics — automating fixes for up to 80% of charging faults. These features are key in resolving the long-standing issue of unreliable charging experiences in the Italian EV landscape.
