On July 11, 2025, the 26th China International New Energy Battery CCS Innovation Development Forum was held in Anting, Shanghai. Industry leaders such as LanJun New Energy, Dongguan Silixiang, RICODA, Yidong Electronics, and Cybrid Technologies gathered to explore the latest trends and market opportunities in Cell Connection Systems (CCS).
Industry Leaders Unite to Drive CCS Development
The forum opened with a keynote speech by Mr. Zheng from LanJun New Energy, who discussed the structure of battery systems and the evolving role of CCS. His address highlighted CCS as a critical component within battery systems, breaking down the industry’s growing demands for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability, and setting a highly professional tone for the event.
Following this, representatives from Dongguan Silixiang, RICODA, and Yidong Electronics dove deep into topics such as CCS design optimization, material innovation, and process advancements, sharing practical, cutting-edge technical insights.

Cybrid Technologies: Deep Dive Into the Iteration Path of Film-Based CCS
A highlight of the forum was a presentation by Mr. Wang Shansheng, Marketing Director of the EV Business Unit at Cybrid Technologies Inc.. As a pioneer in film-based CCS, Cybrid has long focused on functional polymer materials centered on adhesives. Mr. Wang provided a detailed walkthrough of the four-generation evolution of their insulation film technology:
- 1st Generation Hot Press Film (TS4030B): Operating at 150–170 °C with 15–20 minutes pressure hold. Laid the initial foundation for industrial application.
- 2nd Generation Hot Press Film (TS4030B-2): Operating at 130–150 °C with 8–15 minutes hold. Improved production efficiency.
- 3rd Generation Low-Temperature Fast-Press Film (TS4030B-L): Operating at 120–130 °C with just 1–2 minutes hold. Greatly reduced energy consumption and cycle time.
- 4th Generation Radiation-Cured Film (SW-TC1502L): Operates at room temperature with only 15–30 seconds of pressure hold. Represents a revolutionary leap, enabling mass production at scale.

Mr. Wang emphasized that Cybrid has completed comprehensive testing and technical reserves, ensuring the reliability and stability of its products.
Over 5 Million Vehicles Equipped – Strong Market Endorsement for Film-Based CCS
According to data shared at the forum, Cybrid’s film-based CCS solutions have already been used in over 5 million EV battery packs, highlighting strong market recognition. With the introduction of low-temperature fast-press and radiation-cured films, film-based CCS is gaining momentum due to its low energy use, high efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, making it a rising star in both EV and energy-storage markets. Industry forecasts suggest explosive demand growth, positioning Cybrid to continue leading the space.

Looking Ahead: Innovation Driving a Greener Future
This successful forum not only fostered collaboration and knowledge sharing within the CCS industry but also underscored the growing strength of China’s independent innovation in new energy battery tech. Moving forward, Cybrid remains committed to its philosophy: “Innovation Creates Value,” providing new materials solutions for the new energy industry and pushing the sector toward higher efficiency and greener development.
