To date, over 3,000 Coach Captains and 400 Coach Hosts have successfully completed the robust training, which includes a week-long onboarding curriculum comprising:
- Classroom sessions
- Simulator-based modules
- Real-route practice drives
The curriculum is structured around 11 core modules, including 8 Defensive Driving Techniques (DDT) and 3 focused on Customer Experience and Vehicle Familiarization.
Key topics include:
- Regenerative braking mastery
- Battery-efficient driving

- High-voltage safety standards
- Passenger comfort and engagement
This ensures that every NueGo recruit is not just road-ready, but also equipped to deliver a premium, eco-friendly travel experience.
Training Beyond the Basics
Training is conducted by in-house specialists at NueGo depots in Delhi, Indore, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai, ensuring a pan-India standard of excellence.
Importantly, this isn’t a one-time effort. Every Coach Captain undergoes refresher training every three months, including hands-on driving assessments in:
- Blind spot awareness
- L-shaped reversing
- Parallel parking
