Volkswagen Group Charging GmbH (Elli) has reached a significant milestone in its mission to advance sustainable mobility, expanding its Europe-wide public EV charging network to 900,000 charge points, including 80,000 high-power charging (HPC) stations. This marks an 80% increase in charging infrastructure over the past two years, positioning Elli as one of the continent’s most comprehensive and accessible e-mobility providers.
To complement this rapid growth, Elli has also introduced a new transparent and user-friendly pricing model designed to simplify public EV charging across 28 European countries via the Elli app, Charging Card, and Charge&Fuel Card.

ID. Buzz World Tour Kicks Off with Global Record Attempt
To put the network to the test, Guinness World Record holder Rainer Zietlow is embarking on an ambitious world tour in a Volkswagen ID. Buzz Pro, aiming to set a new record for the “most countries visited in an electric vehicle.” Supported by Elli and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Zietlow’s journey will span over 75 countries across six continents, starting in Europe.
