Ford Motor Company delivered a powerful second quarter performance, with total U.S. sales surging 14.2% year-over-year, outpacing the overall industry’s modest 1.4% growth. The company’s market share rose 1.8 percentage points to an estimated 14.3%, driven by booming demand for pickups, SUVs, and electrified vehicles.

Truck & SUV Strength Continues
- F-Series remained America’s best-selling truck, with 222,459 units sold, marking its strongest Q2 since 2019.
- Maverick hit a quarterly record with 48,041 units sold (+26.3%); nearly 60% of buyers are new to the Ford brand.
- Bronco family sales hit 78,543 units (+44.7%), while Expedition and Navigator posted their best Q2 sales in two decades.
Electrified Vehicle Leadership
Ford sold a record 156,509 electrified vehicles in the first half of 2025, a 14.7% increase year-over-year, outselling GM and Stellantis combined. Hybrids made up the majority, with 117,521 units sold, while EVs like the Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, and E-Transit continued strong momentum.
Lincoln Brand Rebounds
Luxury division Lincoln had a standout quarter, with sales up 31% to 31,332 vehicles. The Navigator (+115%), Aviator (+28%), and Corsair (+4.5%) helped the brand post its best Q2 since 2007.
Digital & Mobility Services Growth
- Ford Pro Intelligence surpassed 750,000 paid software subscriptions, up more than 20% YoY.
- BlueCruise achieved over 6 million cumulative hands-free driving hours.
- Mobile Service expanded with 578,899 experiences delivered in Q2 (+21%).
What’s Next: Lobo & Explorer Tremor
Ford plans to launch the Explorer Tremor and F-150 Lobo in Q3. With rugged off-road and performance styling, both models expand Ford’s reach into lifestyle-driven segments.
