In a major push toward Indonesia’s green mobility transition, VinFast, the Vietnam-based electric vehicle manufacturer, has entered a strategic Dealer Financing Cooperation Agreement with PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BCA), one of the country’s leading private banks. This pivotal partnership is set to provide tailored credit facilities to VinFast’s expanding dealer network across Indonesia, strengthening the brand’s presence and accelerating EV adoption nationwide.

The agreement marks a significant milestone in VinFast’s mission to build a comprehensive green mobility ecosystem, offering financial accessibility that empowers dealers to scale up operations, manage inventory efficiently, and ensure the smooth supply of EVs and genuine parts.

Under the terms of the MoU, BCA will offer a flexible range of credit solutions, including:

  • Regular credit ceilings for daily operations
  • Seasonal/fleet credit ceilings to support high-demand periods and bulk purchases

This structured financing approach supports cash flow optimization, reduces capital constraints, and enables faster procurement cycles—essential for dealers operating in a rapidly evolving EV market.

By offering these facilities, BCA is proud to contribute to Indonesia’s electric vehicle transformation and support the government’s energy transition agenda,” said Denny Haryanto, Senior Vice President of Corporate Banking at BCA. “We believe this partnership aligns with our commitment to sustainable finance and long-term economic growth.

The agreement also introduces streamlined payment terms and simplified financial processes, designed to minimize administrative burdens. As a result, dealers can experience faster fund disbursement, easier account management, and focus more on sales and customer service.

We’re proud to partner with a trusted financial institution like BCA,” said Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto, CEO of VinFast Indonesia. “This partnership gives our dealers vital access to capital and reinforces our deep commitment to Indonesia’s sustainable development goals. It’s a crucial step in bringing VinFast EVs to more Indonesian consumers.

In just over a year since its market debut, VinFast Indonesia has rapidly expanded, launching models such as the VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, and VF e34—each backed by attractive after-sales benefits like free charging, 0% interest loans, and guaranteed buy-back offers.

VinFast’s broader strategy in Indonesia includes collaborations with GSM, an electric taxi service, and V-GREEN, a global EV charging network developer. Its upcoming assembly plant in Subang further demonstrates its commitment to local production and the development of Indonesia’s EV ecosystem.

As this financial partnership with BCA gains momentum, VinFast is positioned not only as a vehicle manufacturer, but as a catalyst for sustainable mobility and economic growth in Indonesia’s emerging EV sector.
