Marking a significant leap in India’s electric vehicle revolution, Tata Motors, the country’s largest four-wheeler EV manufacturer, today announced the introductory pricing of the Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) variants of its highly anticipated Harrier.ev, starting at ₹28.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).
Touted as India’s safest and most capable all-wheel drive electric SUV, the Harrier.ev QWD combines cutting-edge performance with best-in-class safety. Building on the enthusiastic response to the rear-wheel-drive variants launched earlier, the QWD models are set to redefine premium electric mobility with dual-motor all-wheel drive technology, robust off-road capabilities, and intelligent features.
At the heart of the Harrier.ev QWD is a dual-motor setup producing 158 PS (116 kW) at the front and 238 PS (175 kW) at the rear, generating a staggering 504 Nm of torque. This configuration enables the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, while offering features like Boost Mode, 6 Terrain Modes, and Off-Road Assist — making it a true all-terrain performer.
Backed by a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, the Harrier.ev scored a perfect 32/32 in Adult Occupant Protection and 45/49 in Child Occupant Protection, making it one of the safest vehicles in India.
