E.ON has been named Germany’s “Corporate Brand of the Year” by the prestigious German Brand Award, receiving the highest honor in this category. This accolade recognizes E.ON’s comprehensive brand realignment and its successful positioning as a key driver of the energy transition in Germany and Europe.

Lars Rosumek, Senior Vice President Group Communications and Political Affairs at E.ON SE said: “In the past year, we have strategically realigned the E.ON brand. I am proud of the successes we have achieved in such a short time. E.ON is committed to playing an active role in shaping Europe’s energy future as playmaker in the energy transition. We are taking responsibility for ensuring that the new energy world works for customers and society. By transforming our brand, we have succeeded in making this attitude tangible both internally and externally.”

With a total of seven awards, E.ON emerged as the most successful brand at the competition. The honors reflect the new brand positioning, including recognition for strategy, concept and design, presence at the E-world 2025 energy trade fair, and the energy transition campaign by its subsidiary, E.ON Energie Deutschland. Over recent years, E.ON has transformed by shifting focus from energy generation to electricity distribution grids and sustainable customer solutions, firmly establishing its active role in shaping the energy transition—an evolution clearly embodied by its brand.
