Montra Electric, the clean mobility arm of the Murugappa Group, has further strengthened its presence in Bengaluru with the inauguration of its fourth electric three-wheeler showroom in the city. The new dealership, located strategically opposite the Satellite Bus Stand at Bapujinagar on Mysore Road, has been launched in partnership with Rainland Autocorp.
The showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Arun Murugappan, Chairman of Tube Investments of India Ltd, in the presence of key dignitaries from Montra Electric and Rainland Autocorp. Notable attendees included Mr. Roy Kurian, Business Head – Last Mile Mobility, Montra Electric, and Rainland Autocorp Directors Mr. Sheik Ahamed Shahil Anoof and Mr. Ibrahim Shereef, along with Executive Director Mr. Gajanan Hegdekatte and CEO Mr. Kumar Kalmath.
Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Arun Murugappan said, “Montra Electric 3-wheelers are marking a new phase of growth and innovation for us. Karnataka is a key market, and we are proud to expand in Bengaluru with the support of Rainland Autocorp. Mr. Roy Kurian emphasized the company’s long-term commitment to the EV ecosystem in the city. “Bengaluru has been a frontrunner in EV adoption, and with strong government support, we foresee rapid growth. This fourth showroom is a testament to our dedication to serve the city’s evolving mobility needs,” he said.
Rainland Autocorp Director Mr. Shahil Anoof added, “Partnering with Montra Electric enables us to deliver innovative, reliable, and eco-friendly mobility solutions. We aim to create awareness, train auto drivers, and build an EV-friendly ecosystem across Bengaluru.”
The new dealership will offer comprehensive Sales, Service, and Spares (3S) support, enhancing customer experience and accessibility. Montra Electric’s three-wheelers are available in two variants: SUPER AUTO for passenger mobility and SUPER CARGO for goods transportation, catering to both B2C and B2B segments.
The SUPER CARGO, recently launched, comes equipped with a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery delivering a segment-best range of 170 km, 70 Nm torque, and 12 kW peak power. It also features a rapid 15-minute full charge option exclusive to Bengaluru.
Montra Electric’s three-wheelers stand out for their spacious interiors, industry-leading range, utility features, and robust warranty—offering 24×7 roadside assistance, telematics support, and a 5-year/1.75 lakh km battery warranty.
