The all-new E-Truck S2, a heavy-duty electric and autonomy-capable truck developed entirely in-house, builds upon the legacy of the widely adopted E-Truck S1, already operational at ports in Thailand, Peru, and Pakistan. Designed to overcome key industry challenges—vibration, emissions, and maintenance overhead—the S2 introduces a host of innovations:

  • A new AI-VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) powered by multi-modal AI algorithms adapts in real time to driving behavior, system status, and environmental conditions—enhancing efficiency and durability.
  • Wheel-side reduction axles, air suspension, and a V-type thrust rod boost roll stability by 25%, ensuring smoother container handling.
  • A transmission-free architecture and centralized lubrication system reduce maintenance cost and complexity.
  • Extended runtime of over 16 hours per charge with 282kWh and 310kWh LFP battery options.
  • Ergonomic upgrades for drivers include air-ride seating, high-output A/C, and a spacious 1540×1550×1750mm cab.
  • Enabled by Westwell’s steer-by-wire 2.0 chassis, the S2 is autonomous-ready and seamlessly integrates into future logistics networks.

Autonomous Excellence: Q-Truck Expands Global Reach

Also showcased was Westwell’s proven Q-Truck, now widely deployed in autonomous port operations. Equipped with a multi-task, multi-view AI perception engine, Bird’s Eye View (BEV), and Transformer-based decisioning, the Q-Truck delivers unmatched precision and real-time responsiveness.

  • At the Port of Felixstowe in the UK, Q-Trucks are now conducting 24/7 unmanned operations, fully integrated into port workflows.
  • CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal has scaled its deployment to 12 Q-Trucks, marking a leap forward in end-to-end autonomous logistics.

ReeWell and the Ainergy Strategy: Intelligence Beyond Vehicles

Westwell also introduced ReeWell, its new AI-powered dispatch and coordination platform, built to unify siloed automation systems into a fully intelligent logistics ecosystem. As part of its Ainergy Strategy—which fuses AI and energy innovation—ReeWell supports scalable, self-optimizing operations across ports, airports, and freight hubs worldwide.

A Vision for Global Logistics

Westwell President Zhang Rong emphasized the transformative potential of AI during his keynote:

The future of logistics is smart, sustainable, and collaborative. AI is rearchitecting logistics infrastructure, and environmental responsibility is no longer optional.

With its latest innovations on full display at TOC Europe, Westwell is positioning itself not just as a truck maker, but as a strategic architect of next-gen logistics—smarter, cleaner, and built for tomorrow.
