VinFast Auto Ltd. has reported preliminary domestic deliveries of 11,496 electric vehicles (EVs) in May 2025, reinforcing its stronghold as Vietnam’s leading EV manufacturer. The latest figures push the company’s year-to-date delivery total to 56,187 units, marking another milestone in VinFast’s rapid market expansion.
The compact VF 5 and newly launched VF 3 emerged as the best-selling models for the month, recording 4,232 and 3,950 units delivered, respectively. These were followed by the VF 6 with 1,393 units and the VF 7 with 773 units.
From January through May 2025, the VF 3 has taken the lead as VinFast’s top-selling EV, with 19,416 units delivered across Vietnam. The VF 5 follows closely with 18,752 deliveries, while the VF 6 has moved 7,307 units to date.
The company’s robust performance further solidifies its dominant position in the Vietnamese EV market, supported by data from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association and VinFast’s internal tracking.
These preliminary results, while subject to final audit adjustments, highlight growing consumer demand for VinFast’s affordable and compact electric models tailored to urban and suburban mobility needs.
VinFast noted that these delivery figures may differ from final sales revenue figures due to standard end-of-year audits. Nonetheless, the surge in monthly and cumulative deliveries is seen as a clear indicator of the company’s upward trajectory and its pivotal role in Vietnam’s transition to clean transportation.
