Electric vehicle manufacturer Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd. (WIML) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with XiCon International Ltd., a subsidiary of Kaiser Corporation, to lease 7,500 units of its Wolf+ electric scooters. The collaboration aims to strengthen last-mile delivery operations in major Indian cities including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Pune.
The deployment of the scooters will begin in the 2025–26 financial year and continue through 2026–27. This agreement marks XiCon’s official entry into the electric mobility segment as it expands its diversification efforts across power, telecom, and infrastructure sectors.
Under the agreement, Wardwizard will not only supply the electric scooters but will also provide comprehensive after-sales support, including batteries, spare parts, and technical services. Co-branded service-cum-charging stations will be established to enhance operational efficiency and brand visibility. Demonstration units will also be available for promotional purposes.
XiCon will oversee operational responsibilities including fleet allocation, partnerships with delivery platforms, mobile app development, and marketing campaigns. Additionally, both companies will collaborate on rider training programs to ensure safety and efficiency in EV usage.
Yatin Gupte, Chairman and Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd., stated, “Our association with XiCon International is a significant step toward building a robust ecosystem for last-mile connectivity powered by clean energy. By offering reliable and scalable EV solutions, we aim to not only support delivery services but also contribute to India’s larger goal of sustainable urban mobility.”
The partnership is expected to accelerate the commercial adoption of electric two-wheelers in logistics, while supporting India’s transition to cleaner, smarter transportation solutions.
