BMW is revving up for Summer 2025 with a dynamic rollout of upgrades across its electric and combustion-powered fleet, featuring advanced electric drive systems, enhanced digital capabilities, expanded customization options, and broader equipment as standard.
At the forefront is the BMW i4, which benefits from new silicon carbide semiconductor power electronics, delivering up to 4.5% more efficiency and 22 km more range, depending on the variant. The i4 eDrive35 will now cover 428 km on a single charge, while the i4 eDrive40 boasts 510 km under the WLTP cycle. A new powerhouse joins the family — the BMW i4 M60 xDrive, delivering a stunning 601 hp, sprinting from 0–100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.
Smarter, Safer, More Connected
BMW is expanding its Digital Key feature across nearly all model series, enabling keyless access and multiple user profiles via smartphones. A new Setup Card allows for seamless activation through the My BMW App, and a Service Card provides flexible backup for service needs. Up to 18 devices can be linked, with role-based restrictions — ideal for sharing vehicles with new drivers.
The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant has also been upgraded to offer natural language support in additional countries, and now includes Alexa integration in select markets. A second voice option and improved processing speed make the in-car digital experience more human-like and intuitive.
More Style, More Comfort
From July 2025, BMW will offer new exterior shades like Fire Red metallic, Night Dusk Blue, and Frozen Portimao Blue, and interior trim updates such as Brushed Aluminium Shadow and Veganza perforated upholstery. Models like the BMW X1, X2, and 2 Series Active Tourer receive both aesthetic upgrades and enhanced comfort features, while the BMW 1 Series and 2 Series Gran Coupé now come with heated front seats and alarm systems as standard.
Enhanced Digital Services and Safety
BMW Operating System 9 introduces Zoom video conferencing on the Curved Display (stationary use only), and an upgraded Parking Assistant Plus, now with smart parking line detection — previously available only on higher-end variants.
For navigation, BMW Maps in Operating System 8.5 will receive new UI enhancements, including QuickSelect Widgets for “Home” and “Work” locations.
Peace of Mind with EV Ownership
BMW is also reinforcing its EV proposition with a complimentary extended warranty for high-voltage batteries across all BMW BEV models sold from April 1, 2025. The warranty covers eight years or 160,000 km, including full support if capacity drops below 70%.
Luxury Gets Louder: BMW M & 7 Series Enhancements
Flagship models like the BMW 7 Series and i7 now offer laminated safety glass and customizable comfort packages, while the X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition get the Ultimate Package — featuring M Carbon details, Sky Lounge sunroof, massage functions, and Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound.
Meanwhile, the BMW iX will debut the Frozen Pure Grey metallic finish for a bolder, more distinctive presence.
