Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has officially signed collaboration agreements with four major Philippine partners—Goodyear Philippines, Tire King and Rubber Products, Power Tread Services, and Marcjan Cavite—marking a major leap in its strategy to establish over 100 authorized service workshops across the country by 2025.
The newly signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) outline VinFast’s joint commitment with its partners to deliver world-class maintenance, repair, and electric vehicle (EV) care services in alignment with the brand’s global standards.
Under these agreements:
- Goodyear Philippines will work with VinFast to launch 50 authorized service workshops in 2025.
- Marcjan Cavite is set to open eight workshops.
- Tire King and Power Tread will each establish seven workshops.
Each facility will meet stringent standards for infrastructure, equipment, and staff expertise, and will offer genuine VinFast parts and services to ensure premium after-sales support for EV owners.
VinFast has also pledged full support for its partners through personnel training, technical consultation, and shared expertise to ensure swift and efficient network growth.
These latest partnerships build on previous agreements with JIGA and Motech, positioning VinFast to rapidly strengthen its electric mobility infrastructure in the Philippines. The company’s ongoing efforts aim to enhance the customer experience, while reinforcing its long-term vision of a comprehensive EV ecosystem in Southeast Asia.
Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, stated: “The collaboration with experienced and insightful local players in the Philippines is a clear testament to VinFast’s enduring commitment to developing a comprehensive electric vehicle ecosystem here. This marks the beginning of promising partnerships, laying a solid foundation for VinFast to better serve customers and promote a green lifestyle throughout the nation.”
Nearly a year since its entry into the Philippine market, VinFast has gained traction with a diverse EV lineup, attractive pricing, and steadily improving service systems. Its “For a Green Future” initiative—successfully implemented in Vietnam—now extends to the Philippines, as the company continues to forge ahead with its vision of a sustainable, electrified transportation future across Southeast Asia.
