AUDI AG is alerting the public to a sophisticated scam targeting used-car buyers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Fraudulent websites and fake catalogs are currently advertising used Audi vehicles at unusually low prices in an effort to deceive customers into making payments for vehicles that do not exist.

These scam operations are using websites and sales materials that closely mimic official Audi channels, creating the false impression that they are authorized by AUDI AG. The individuals behind the scheme are employing fake email addresses, phone numbers, and bank details—and in some cases, are even misusing images of real employees from Audi dealerships.

Unfortunately, several individuals have already fallen victim to this fraud. AUDI AG deeply regrets these incidents and urges anyone affected to report the matter to the police immediately.

The company has filed a criminal complaint and is working closely with law enforcement authorities to support the ongoing investigation.
