In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in Europe, Zapp Electric Vehicles Group Limited, the UK-based electric mobility pioneer, has officially appointed Michael Grant Zapp Limited as its first authorised reseller in Ireland.
Headquartered in Dublin, the newly formed dealership is led by industry veteran Michael Grant, who brings over four decades of automotive retail expertise to the table. The partnership marks Zapp’s entry into the Irish market and sets the stage for accelerated growth of its urban electric mobility solutions across the region.
“We are excited to start working with our first Irish authorised reseller following recent European homologation via certification from the National Standards Authority in Ireland,” said David McIntyre, Chief Operating Officer, Zapp EV. “Michael Grant has long worked with premium automotive and urban mobility retail brands, and together we will aim to bring more bikes to the road as we scale the business in Europe.”
Zapp’s debut product, the i300, is a high-performance electric two-wheeler built for urban commuting, offering motorcycle-level performance in a convenient step-through design. The company’s direct-to-customer (DSDTC) model ensures each customer receives personalised delivery, inspection, and lifetime support through certified “Zappers.”
The appointment signals a milestone in Zapp’s European expansion strategy, as it continues to target major urban centres with high demand for sustainable personal transportation solutions.
