In a significant boost to its India entry plans, VinFast India — the domestic arm of Vietnam’s leading electric vehicle manufacturer — has been conferred with the ‘Most Awaited New Car’ award by ABP Live News for its upcoming electric SUV, the VinFast VF 7.
The accolade, presented by one of India’s prominent media organizations, underscores the growing anticipation surrounding the VF 7 as VinFast prepares for its official launch in the Indian market. First unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the VF 7 has captivated automotive enthusiasts and industry experts with its bold styling, advanced technology, and sustainable mobility promise.
Positioned as a premium C-segment SUV, the VF 7 is designed under VinFast’s unique “Asymmetric Aerospace” philosophy, blending futuristic aesthetics with cutting-edge functionality. The SUV features signature V-shaped lighting, a panoramic glass roof, a tech-forward cockpit with large touchscreens, and an extensive ADAS suite, setting a new benchmark in the segment.

VinFast is also preparing to launch the VF 6 alongside the VF 7, further expanding its electric SUV portfolio. The company’s Thoothukudi-based manufacturing plant is expected to be operational by June-end, supplying both domestic and international markets. Alongside manufacturing, VinFast aims to develop a nationwide dealership network and a robust EV infrastructure, including charging stations, to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in India.
