Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has announced a strategic service partnership with PT Oto Klix Indonesia, a move aimed at significantly bolstering after-sales service for Indonesian customers amid the country’s growing shift towards electric mobility.
Under this agreement, VinFast will utilize 150 of PT Oto Klix Indonesia’s service workshops to provide high-standard maintenance, repair, and warranty services. This partnership marks a major milestone in VinFast’s commitment to delivering premium after-sales experiences as its all-electric vehicle lineup expands in the Indonesian market.
“VinFast remains steadfast in our commitment to three core pillars: high-quality products, inclusive pricing, and outstanding after-sales service,” said Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia. “This partnership reinforces our long-term dedication to customer satisfaction and Indonesia’s green transition.”
Phase One Already Underway
As part of the first phase, 40 authorized workshops were appointed in April. An additional 110 workshops will soon be brought on board, with strategic locations across Greater Jakarta, West Java, East Java, Bali, South Sulawesi, and West Kalimantan. Future plans include expansion into Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, and Papua, reinforcing nationwide coverage.
Genuine Parts and Global Standards
PT Oto Klix Indonesia will serve as the authorized distributor of genuine VinFast parts and components, ensuring consistent quality and compatibility. Each workshop will meet VinFast’s rigorous standards for infrastructure, equipment, and service quality.
To support seamless implementation, VinFast will provide technical support and personnel training, enabling PT Oto Klix Indonesia to scale rapidly and maintain the manufacturer’s global service standards.
“Our collaboration has already shown remarkable success, and we believe strongly in VinFast’s growth potential in Southeast Asia,” noted Martin Reyhan Suryohusodo, President Director of PT Oto Klix Indonesia.
Ambitious 2025 Service Network Goal
PT Oto Klix Indonesia currently operates a network of 900 workshops, and VinFast aims to leverage 500 authorized service centers across Indonesia by the end of the year. This aligns with the company’s aggressive growth plans and the expected rise in EV deliveries across the country.
Expanding Ecosystem & Green Vision
VinFast is also focused on building a comprehensive green mobility ecosystem, with partnerships that include electric taxi operator GSM and global charging infrastructure developer V-GREEN. The company offers a diverse EV lineup, from compact models like the VF 3 and VF 5, to the popular VF e34.
By strengthening its service infrastructure through local partnerships, VinFast continues to pave the way for sustainable transportation solutions in Southeast Asia’s largest automotive market.
