Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast Auto Ltd. has announced domestic deliveries of more than 12,100 EVs in March 2025, capping a strong first quarter with over 35,100 units delivered across Vietnam.
The company’s March performance was spearheaded by robust demand for its compact urban models. The VF 3 led the charge with over 3,700 units delivered, followed closely by the VF 5, which saw more than 4,400 deliveries. Together, these models accounted for a significant portion of the month’s total sales.
“The popularity of our VF 3 and VF 5 models highlights the growing adoption of electric mobility among everyday Vietnamese consumers,” said a VinFast spokesperson.
Quarterly Highlights – Q1 2025:
VF 3: ~13,100 units delivered
VF 5: ~10,800 units delivered
VF e34: 4,200+ units delivered
VF 6: 4,100+ units delivered
VF 7: 600+ units delivered in March alone
In total, March deliveries for the VF 6 surpassed 1,100 units, and the VF 7 recorded over 600 units, reflecting steady demand across VinFast’s product range.
The first quarter’s strong performance underscores VinFast’s growing dominance in the domestic EV market, driven by a focus on affordable electric solutions, wide model variety, and expanding service infrastructure. These delivery figures also signal increasing consumer confidence in homegrown electric mobility as Vietnam accelerates its transition to cleaner transportation.
As VinFast continues expanding both domestically and internationally, the company’s impressive Q1 delivery numbers place it on a strong trajectory for 2025.
