Nissan is gearing up for a major showcase at the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2025), where it will unveil an all-new model aimed at strengthening its presence in the competitive Chinese market.

Set to debut on April 23, the new model will broaden Nissan’s New Energy Vehicle (NEV) portfolio, underlining the automaker’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the world’s largest automotive market. The upcoming reveal aligns with Nissan’s strategy to expand its footprint in the electric and hybrid vehicle segments in China.

Also on display will be the sleek Dongfeng Nissan N7, a fully electric sedan that is expected to hit showrooms later this month. The N7 represents a bold step in Nissan’s localized EV strategy, combining cutting-edge technology with modern design for China’s tech-savvy consumers.

In addition to passenger vehicles, Nissan will showcase its high-performance prowess with the Formula E GEN3 Evo race car, offering fans a glimpse of the future of electric motorsports. This comes ahead of Rounds 10 and 11 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, set to take place in Shanghai shortly after the exhibition.
