In a move set to reshape the electric mobility landscape, Kazam has announced a strategic partnership with Yuma Energy, a leading Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) provider and joint venture between Magna International and Yulu Bikes. The collaboration will see Yuma’s advanced battery-swapping units integrated into Kazam’s growing network of Park & Charge (P&C) hubs across India.

The initiative, aimed at enhancing convenience for commercial EV drivers, officially launched at Kazam’s Mahadevapura Park & Charge hub in Bangalore. By allowing EV drivers to quickly exchange depleted batteries for fully charged ones, the partnership promises to drastically reduce downtime and boost fleet productivity.

Kazam currently operates 60 P&C hubs across 10 Indian states, servicing over 3,000 vehicles daily. Launched in 2023, the P&C model offers dedicated, safe charging spaces along with rest and refreshment facilities, supporting delivery personnel and commercial fleet operators. To date, these hubs have delivered over 1 GWh of power, enabling 22 million kilometers of green travel.
