Exicom and IONAGE Partner to Build Unified, Accessible EV Charging Ecosystem in India

In a strategic move to revolutionize India’s electric vehicle (EV) charging landscape, Exicom, a leading EV charging and critical power solutions manufacturer, has announced a partnership with IONAGE, a top EV charging software platform provider. The collaboration aims to establish a neutral, unified, and accessible EV charging ecosystem, simplifying charger discoverability, accessibility, and management nationwide.

With India targeting 30% EV penetration by 2030, the demand for a scalable and efficient EV charging infrastructure is at an all-time high. The Exicom-IONAGE alliance seeks to address this challenge by integrating hardware and software solutions to create a seamless user experience. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will enable Exicom’s extensive EV charging solutions to be integrated into IONAGE’s advanced Charge Management System (CMS), offering a comprehensive platform for multiple charging networks to converge.

The partnership will provide Charge Point Operators (CPOs), fleet operators, OEMs, and real estate developers with an optimized charging infrastructure supported by real-time insights, remote diagnostics, and predictive maintenance. This will lead to higher charger uptime, lower operational costs, and scalable deployment, ultimately boosting consumer confidence and accelerating the expansion of India’s EV charging network.
