Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MGA.414 Corporation, the operator of the JIGA auto service chain, to expand its service network in the Philippines. The collaboration aims to establish more than 100 VinFast service centers nationwide by the end of 2025.
Under the agreement, JIGA’s existing service centers will be upgraded to meet VinFast’s stringent standards for infrastructure, machinery, and technical expertise. These centers will serve as official VinFast service hubs, providing repair, warranty, and maintenance services with genuine spare parts, ensuring greater convenience and peace of mind for VinFast customers in the country.
The partnership comes amid the growing demand for electric vehicles among Filipino consumers and underscores VinFast’s commitment to accelerating the country’s green transformation. The company will support JIGA through personnel training, technical consultation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to expedite the expansion of its authorized service network.
JIGA President Michael Abanero highlighted the importance of the collaboration, stating, “The market for electric vehicles is expanding in the Philippines, and this partnership with VinFast allows us to enhance our service capabilities while supporting sustainable development. Excited guid kami, tanan nga taga-JIGA, to work with VinFast.”
Echoing this sentiment, Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, emphasized the significance of the agreement, saying, “Our collaboration with JIGA is a strategic step toward fulfilling VinFast’s commitment to providing an optimal EV ownership experience for customers in the Philippines. We are confident that the combination of VinFast’s green vision and JIGA’s professional service network will mark a milestone in promoting sustainable transportation in this market.”
Since its entry into the Philippine market in 2024, VinFast has launched a range of smart and environmentally friendly EV models while expanding its after-sales service network. By partnering with established industry leaders like JIGA, the company aims to strengthen its market presence and provide Filipino EV owners with world-class service.
As part of its Southeast Asian expansion, VinFast is building a comprehensive “For a Green Future” ecosystem, focusing on developing EV charging stations and service networks. With proven success in Vietnam, this model is now being implemented in the Philippines, reinforcing VinFast’s ambition to drive sustainable mobility in the region.
