The Mercedes-Benz eVito has successfully proven itself as a reliable, fully electric solution for various commercial applications, including package delivery, maintenance services, eGrocery, and on-demand vehicles for public transit. Until now, the eVito panel van offered a 60 kWh battery and an 85 kW peak output electric motor, catering to businesses requiring short urban trips.“With the new variants of the eVito panel van, we are expanding the fields of application for commercial electromobility and ensuring that locally CO₂-emission-free mobility is even more suitable for everyday use” said Klaus Rehkugler, Head of Sales & Marketing Mercedes-Benz Vans.
To further expand its appeal to a broader range of commercial users, Mercedes-Benz has introduced new variants of the eVito panel van. With a significantly enhanced 90 kWh usable battery capacity, these new variants offer increased ranges of up to 480 kilometers (WLTP). Customers can choose between two electric motors: the 85 kW peak output motor or a more powerful version, known from the eVito Tourer, delivering up to 150 kW peak output and 365 Nm of torque for enhanced driving dynamics.
The vehicle’s two available lengths—5,140 mm for the long (A2) variant and 5,390 mm for the extra-long (A3) variant—remain unchanged. Thanks to the battery’s underbody placement, the interior offers up to 6.6 m³ of cargo space, making it ideal for goods transport in many industries.
The eVito panel van variants feature a water-cooled AC on-board charger (OBL) with a maximum charging capacity of 11 kW. It supports AC charging at commercial sites, company courtyards, or public charging stations via the CCS charging socket located in the left front bumper. Additionally, DC fast charging is supported, allowing the eVito to charge from 10-80% SoC at a DC rapid charging station with up to 110 kW in approximately 40 minutes.
Standard features in the eVito panel van include the MBUX multimedia system with a 10.25-inch central display, a 5.5-inch color display in the instrument cluster, KEYLESS Start, and an electric starter brake. It also includes a range of safety and assistance systems such as ATTENTION ASSIST, Headlamp Assist with rain sensor, cruise control, Active Brake Assist with cross-traffic function, Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Intelligent Speed Assist, and a reversing camera.
The eVito panel van with the new 90 kWh battery is priced starting at €46,007.93 (including 19% VAT). It also includes a four-year maintenance package, covering the costs of service work in accordance with manufacturer specifications, and the Mercedes-Benz battery certificate for up to 160,000 kilometers or eight years.
