Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML), the electric mobility arm of Greaves Cotton Limited (GCL), has announced a strategic partnership with Indofast Energy, a joint venture between Indian Oil and SUN Mobility, to enhance last-mile transportation solutions for B2B fleets and ride-sharing services.

As part of this collaboration, the companies have unveiled the Ampere ‘Magnus SW.S’, an advanced electric scooter integrated with Indofast Energy’s battery-swapping technology. Designed specifically for gig economy riders covering over 100 kilometers daily, the Magnus SW.S offers a fast and seamless battery replacement solution, reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency.

Revolutionizing Battery Swapping for Urban Mobility
By leveraging Indofast Energy’s rapidly expanding battery-swapping network, riders can instantly replace depleted batteries with fully charged ones, significantly lowering operational costs and enhancing productivity. This partnership aligns with Greaves’ vision of ‘Empowering Lives’ and ‘Democratizing Smart and Sustainable Mobility’, while supporting Indofast Energy’s goal of making battery swapping the default mode of EV charging in India.
