Tesseract – The Future of Electric Scooters
One of the biggest highlights of the event was the unveiling of Tesseract, Ultraviolette’s first-ever electric scooter, designed to set new industry benchmarks in safety, performance, and convenience. The company emphasized that Tesseract will introduce riders to a new level of intelligent mobility with features such as:
- Integrated radar and dashcam, coupled with Omnisense mirrors that enhance rider safety by providing blind spot detection, lane change assist, overtaking assist, and real-time collision alerts.
- Fast-charging capability, allowing the battery to reach 80% charge in under an hour.
- IDC-certified range of 261 km, making it one of the most efficient electric scooters in its category.
- Peak power output of 15 kW (20 bhp), ensuring top-tier acceleration and smooth city rides.
- 34-liter under-seat storage, ideal for everyday usability.
- 14-inch wheels, designed for stability and control in urban and highway conditions.
To make Tesseract even more appealing, Ultraviolette has introduced an aggressive pricing strategy. The first 10,000 customers can purchase it at an introductory price of ₹1.2 lakh, while the next 50,000 customers will get it for ₹1.3 lakh. Once these initial slots are filled, the final retail price will be ₹1.45 lakh. Pre-bookings have already opened at ₹999, and deliveries are expected to begin in early 2026. Customers will also be able to choose from four distinct color options: Sunburst Sand, Stealth Black, Sonic Pink, and Solar White.
Shockwave – A New Era for Lightweight Electric Motorcycles
Ultraviolette also introduced Shockwave, a performance-oriented electric motorcycle inspired by the thrill of two-stroke bikes. Designed for riders who enjoy lightweight, agile motorcycles, Shockwave delivers exhilarating performance without compromising efficiency. Key specifications include:
- 505 Nm of torque (at the rear wheel), ensuring high acceleration and agility.
- Peak power output of 14.5 bhp (10.8 kW).
- 165 km IDC range, optimized for urban and intercity travel.
- 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest motorcycles in its category.
- 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels, built for durability and superior handling.
Shockwave is available at an introductory price of ₹1.49 lakh for the first 1,000 customers, with pre-bookings open at ₹999. Deliveries for Shockwave will also begin in early 2026. Riders can select between two color options: Cosmic Black and Frost White.
